DCC launches first Xperience Zone in Bangladesh
Indian textile printing solutions giant DCC Group recently launched its first international flagship ‘Xperience Zone’ showroom and training facility in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This facility lets customers get a feel of the products and technology and showcases the finished product samples in life-like studio setup for understanding various applications.
Customers can also bring in their textile fabric and get their design and samples created before making any purchase decisions. Since the facility has all the machines and products on display, it also makes for the ideal location to conduct technical seminars and hands-on training required to develop a proficient and skilled production team to ensure a profitable printing business. DCC already has such facilities in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Tirupur, Tamil Nadu.
DCC also launched Monna Lisa digital textile printing machine from Robustelli, a pioneer in industrial printing technology, for Bangladesh and Sri Lanka market. This launch rounds off the company’s complete range of products for screen, sublimation and digital printing.
Additionally, DCC hosted a fashion extravaganza to show off the potential of the printing industry with a brilliant display of color, design and opulence during the launch event.
“We are confident that our integrated printing solutions, technologies, hands-on training and services will help Bangladesh companies add the missing piece of value to their product line which is key to achieve the $50 billion export target by 2021,” said Dhaval Dadia, managing director of DCC Group of companies.
“We are glad to bring in our 40 years of rich experience in textile printing segment. Over the years we have realised that just selling the best in class product does not suffice. Customers need training and extended technical support to fully utilise the power of technology and so we have invested in Kaizen Training Academy,” said Narendra Dadia, chairman of DCC Group.

This indicates that instead of passing the buck, we take full responsibility, whether its quality, achieving efficiency or new techniques, and deal with all customers’ problems,” added Narendra Dadia.
A panel discussion was organised at the event by DCC, which was attended by Aslam Sunny, first vice president of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association; Dr Syed Farhat Anwar, professor at IBA, Dhaka University and chief advisor at Bangladesh brand forum; Javier Karlos Santonja Olcina, MD of ITX Trading; David Permenter, international printing expert and educational director at DCC Group and Atiqul Islam, ex-president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association and president of CEBAI.
